All of the American Idol finalists change their look over the course of the competition, but the newest look belongs to Michael Johns, who is growing a mustache these days.
Im bringing it back, the singer tells OK! of his look. What the ascot didnt do for me Im sure the 'stache will. I just go with the flow and the flow said 'grow a mustache,' so I did.
Not everyone loves it though. I think you look better without it, Kristy Lee Cook tells him. You look like a serial killer.
Idol big-wigs arent too fond of the look either.
Theyve tried to get me to shave this but come on, it works, Michael says. I grabbed the new cover of Rolling Stone and Chris Martins got a 'stache. Im like if its working for Coldplay
Check out Michael and his 'stache in all ilts glory on the American Idols Live! Tour, kicking off July 1, this summer.

The singer had been visiting her sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, who gave birth on Wednesday to a baby girl. Soon after her flight from Mississippi landed at Los Angeles International Aiport on Friday evening, Britney was swarmed with photographers.
Airport police described between 30 and 35 photographers launching themselves at her vehicle, according to the Associated Press. One of the singer's bodyguards finally pushed a paparazzo back, shoving the camera into his face.
The snapper was not pleased, complaining to airport police that the smack had left a slight mark on his cheek. He did not, however, file charges.
Police say that Spears, 26, was unharmed and left the airport safely.
Battalions of photographers doubtless followed, preparing for future skirmishes and armed with flashbulbs, memory cards and their best "Hey, Britney!" yells. And one sorry fellow nursing his poor, bruised cheek.

N.E.R.D. star PHARRELL WILLIAMS is planning on spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on a new treatment to remove his many tattoos.
The rapper-turned-producer is sick of the body art he has on his arms and has signed up to a undergo a new method of erasing them - which involves scientists growing skin grafts in a lab.
Williams insists he doesn't care how expensive and painful the procedure will be - as long as it gets rid of the tattoos.
He says, "It's going to be pricey, but f**k it, it's worth it. I got fire on my arms! I'm a grown man!
"There's an institute called the Wake Forest Institute in North Carolina for Regenerative Skin Treatment. It's basically like getting a skin graft, but you're not taking skin from your ass or your legs. These guys actually grow the skin for you.
"First you have to give them a sample of your skin, which they then replicate. Once that's been done, they sew it on - and it's seamless."
But Williams is already plotting replacement tattoos.
He adds, "When it has healed you can go get whatever tattoo you want."
